 Wigan's Christmas Dash is a an event organised by Eighty Seventy.


  • To be able to use the Eighty Seventy Online Entry system we have to ask for and store some basic personal information about you. By using our online system to enter any event you consent to the collection and use of this data in the manner described


  • We are registered with the ICO and are compliant with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) in the United Kingdom. We take all reasonable care to prevent any unauthorised access to and use of your personal data

 Data we collect


  • When you use the Eighty Seventy Online Entry system you will be asked for your name, gender, address, date of birth, email address, telephone number, postal address and other information as specific to processing your entry for the specific event (for example, t-shirt size). You will also be asked to provide the same information for any other individuals you are entering or next of kin for emergency contact use only.

  • The details you provide will be stored securely with off-site back-up. These details are necessary to enable us to produce the necessary event lists, to provide you with the appropriate event items, send you event information, contact you or your next of kin should you be unaccounted for after the event or an incident occurs

  • If you choose to pay by credit/debit card you will be asked for your credit/debit card details via PayPal. These are only held by PayPal (who handle transactions on behalf of Eighty Seventy) not by Eighty Seventy

  • All event entry information will be retained by Eighty Seventy for a period of not less than one year from the transaction date. It will remain available during that period and supplied to the customer on request

 Other Use of Data


  • We may contact you by post, e-mail or telephone to ask you for your feedback and comments on our services. In addition we may use the information as a service to our customers through sending you information on other Eighty Seventy events, services or goods as they arise, unless you have signified to us that you do not wish us to contact you with this information

 Sharing Data


  • Your name, age category, gender and club/team name will appear on the public list of participants for each event you enter using the Eighty Seventy Online Entry System. We do not provide this information to any other commercial or non-commercial organisations, unless so as to comply with sporting governing body event permit or registration policies. If an event has been organised on behalf of a third party, the data will also be available to them for research and marketing purposes

 Updating your details

  • If any of the information that you have provided to us changes, for example if you change your

      email or postal address, name or telephone number, please let us know the correct details by sending an

  • By submitting your information you consent to the use of that information as set out in this Policy.
